Anne Hathaway wore a version of this dress to the 2008 Academy Awards and it is referred to in various publications as an iconic red carpet dress. The Oscar dress has a train and this dress does not. It is 100% Silk Chiffon and it is exquisitely made. It has a trail of silk roses from the left shoulder across the bodice of the dress. It has an empire waist and an almost Grecian feel with a drape of fabric down the left side of the dress.
